My typical day at Spire

Every day is unpredictable in claims. I respond to incidents when natural gas is suspected to be involved to determine if there’s any legal responsibility for Laclede/MGE. Each day is a new experience. I investigate claims where someone believes one of our crews may have damaged property. I get to use my critical and creative problem-solving skills to find solutions for our customers.

My favorite thing about my job

I love that every day is different. I have the opportunity and responsibility to take a negative experience for a customer and turn it into a positive one. My focus is always to help customers and treat others how I would like to be treated. It’s about putting myself in someone else’s work boots and walking around for a day to find a solution that works for everyone.
