Spire is seeking a Business & Metrics Analyst II to work in the Missouri East operation. This position will be responsible for working with ITS and business users in maintaining the EAM system functionality to meet Operating requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the business and ITS to maintain current and create new functionality in our enterprise wide applications (Maximo, EBS, PowerPlant, CC&B, G4, GIS)
  • Work with ITS to assist in the daily system administration and updating of the Maximo application.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of consistent operational and productivity metrics, using our enterprise wide applications, that support our strategic goals
  • Develop and maintain user access to EAM data by leading the efforts to build and maintain Start Centers, dashboards, and system queries.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of reporting and dashboards for Executive and Distribution Operations leadership
  • Provide operational and financial analysis to Distribution Operations leadership for decision making
  • Assist in creating models and business cases for major projects with Distribution Operations (i.e. rate cases, labor agreements, new work practices, etc.)
  • Assist in the training and change management of new metrics, reports, and enhancements to enterprise wide applications
  • Work with the business to evaluate benchmark performance both internal to Distribution Operations as well externally against other corporations outside Laclede Group for developing best practices
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Education: (may include certifications, licenses and registrations)

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, information technology or related areas of study. May consider candidates with extensive applicable experience in lieu of a degree.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities:

  • Two to five years of experience in analytics and/or performance reporting
  • Experience in Distribution Operations practices preferred
  • Previous experience working with our enterprise wide applications strongly preferred

Physical demands, work environment and work schedule:

  • Normal Work Environment - Work is normally performed in a shared office environment-make changes to this depending upon the position requirements. Consider Outside or Field Work Environment, Quiet Work Environment, etc.
  • Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:45 pm
