This position, in the information security and compliance group of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department, includes duties related to provisioning user access, risk mitigations, and validating information technology compliance controls that support corporate policies and regulations.  This position reports directly to the Manager, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC).

Primary duties:

Demonstrate expertise in the role of Security Administrator by:

  • Provisioning user access to systems, applications and network connections.
  • Enforcing security policies and procedures by performing monthly and annual access control reviews.
  • Researching end-user problems and providing accurate documentation to the user community in a timely and effective manner.
  • Advising management on information security policies, standards, procedures, security violations, security risks and other security matters, as needed.
  • Assisting with IT audits and compliance reviews including SOX IT audits.
  • Ensuring events are properly documented for compliance and cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Documenting processes and procedures that would benefit the team and the organization.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or equivalent experience in Information Technology/Systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a security administrator or user provisioning role.
  • Identity & Access Management (2 years): role mining, access governance, access certification, technologies (Oracle Access Manager, Azure, SAP Identity Management, Microsoft Active Directory)
  • Governance (2 years): information security policy and control design, reporting, business alignment, standards (ISO 2700x, NIST, SOX, etc.) preferred
  • Strong analytical capabilities and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of user administration technologies.
  • Solid understanding of business organization and processes.
  • Moderate proficiency in risk management.

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

  • A+, Security+ or equivalent certification or the ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire (preferred)

Work environment:

  • Shared office environment
  • Normal 40 Hours work week
  • Additional hours when on-call and minimal travel may be required
  • Rotational on-call duties to support the business during non-business hours.
