Summary
Spire is seeking a Facility Specialist to work in the Kansas City, MO operation. This position will be responsible for daily administration, coordination, and analytic support of various processes, projects and shared services within the Facilities Department (Operations/Workspace/Office Services).

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for administrative support in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on department spend, projects, and metrics to capture and visualize data by use of established tools and processes
- Orchestrate all department purchase orders and requisitions. Coordinate job bids and statements of work with internal parties to track through project close-out
- Process invoiced expenditures for the Facilities Department, ensuring accurate and consistent charging and tracking across all companies
- Monitor utility usage and performance metrics using tracking tools to support energy efficiency and cost‑reduction initiatives
- Process Workspace requests for moves, new hires, terminations, furniture, and space requests, and implement solutions through collaboration with affected parties to completion
- Assist in maintaining accurate occupancy data and existing conditions by conducting walkthroughs/site visits, and reporting/recommending changes to the Lead, Workplace Strategist, and Facilities Systems Administrator
- Utilize CAFM system (FM Systems) to add/decommission facility assets, input property inspection data, and maintenance and office services requests
- Manage employee parking program(s) where applicable
- Manage outside vendors as needed at company facilities, including building access
- Lead support of all facility office service programs, including office supplies, mail, meeting/event support, and perform other department duties and responsibilities as requested
- All other duties as assigned

Required Education (certifications, licenses)
- Associate’s degree required, or demonstrated progress toward attainment of an associate’s degree
Required knowledge, skill and abilities
- 5 years of general office experience emphasizing analytical and administrative business support
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in Oracle and CAFM (computer-aided facility management) systems preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
Physical demands, environment and schedule
- Primarily normal office conditions in a shared office environment. Daily responsibilities may require standing, walking, and moving around for entire work shift
- Periodic vehicle travel between local facilities may be required
- 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday
- Overtime may be required
- Up to 15% overnight travel may be required
