Summary

Spire is seeking a Gas Measurement Analyst.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure integrity of measurement volumes by analyzing data and recommending corrections
  • Obtain and input measurement data into various reports and spreadsheets daily, monthly and yearly
  • Perform and assist with ongoing management of the measurement system and related tasks
  • Apply AGA and API gas measurement standards and specifications to investigate losses or gains in plant process and pipelines
  • Maintain database data, original and edits tracked and accounted for
  • Provide measurement/volume information to accounting for the purposes of completing regular recurring reports as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, lease, easement and royalty requirements
  • All other duties as assigned
     
Required Education (certifications, licenses)

•   High School Diploma or GED required

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

 

  • 3+ years Energy Flow Meter experience
  • 1+ Accounting and Regulatory experience
  • Strong database and reporting experience
  • Familiarity with CFR 43 regulations
  • Familiarity with AGA and API standards and Practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs
     
Physical demands, environment and schedule
  • Work is performed in an office/ plant environment outdoors and in all weather conditions
  • Typically, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Occasional over-time and on-call work
