Summary

Spire is seeking an Tech II, Electrician

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tests, calibrates and adjusts large capacity meters and other measuring and regulating equipment in the
  • field used in recording volumes of gas.
  • Understand gas composition.
  • Replaces worn parts and reassembles meters and equipment and monitors for, as well as implements,
  • equipment changes.
  • Operates and maintains gas measurement equipment GC’s, flow elements, H2S, H2O, and analyzer.
  • Ensure BLM guidelines are followed and maintain strong working relationship with agency
  • Responsible for documenting, recording, and correcting audit findings
  • Ability to understand the analysis from gas chromatographic to ensure calibrations are accurate

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • 0-4 plus years’ experience of gas storage/energy industry preferred

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Work Environment - Work is performed in an office/ plant environment outdoors and in all weather
  • conditions
  • Work Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm
  • Occasional over-time
