Summary

The Specialist, Compensation will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of various compensation programs specifically designed for executive or other specified areas of the organization.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer records and transactions of equity grants to participants, including grant processing, reporting and vesting
  • Provide necessary technical support for regular financial and regulatory filings (10Q, 10K, Form 4 and proxy statement)
  • Build and maintain solid and productive relationships with team members, business leaders, employees and vendors through the use of strong facilitation, networking and professional presentation skills
  • Supports the annual salary merit and AIP awards processes
  • Supports placements by TA through compensation package recommendations
  • Educate through presentations and individual conversions on compensation procedures, policies and programs
  • Lead and/or assist with compensation or other HR projects as needed
  • Manage relationship and consult with third party vendors as appropriate
  • Supports the planning and implementation of key processes
  • Oversees Company participation in various surveys and maintains updated data base of annual survey information
  • Support project efforts as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned

  • High degree of integrity, sensitivity and professionalism in dealing with associate relations issues and confidential information

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Human Resources, or related business discipline required.
  • SPHR, CEBS or CCP preferred
     

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Three to five years’ experience with proven increase in responsibility in compensation required
  • Work experience in human resources or finance area of an organization
  • Maintain professionalism and keep sensitive materials confidential at all times
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Knowledge of survey data systems and vendor programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills
  • ADP, Oracle and SuccessFactors experience preferred
     

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Hybrid in office/remote work schedule
  • Requires work during nonstandard business hours with occasional travel
