Spire is seeking a Facilities Specialist II to work in our St. Louis operation.  This position will be responsible for managing daily administration and coordination of various processes, projects and shared services within the Real Estate and Facilities Department (Administration/Workspace/Hospitality).

Primary duties:

  • Manages administrative support in analyzing and reporting on department spend, projects and metrics, capturing data, coordinating variance explanation reporting, and providing updates as necessary to department leadership
  • Manages process for payment of all invoices, initiating projects in systems, and necessary time keeping for department
  • Manages daily work, workflow and ticketing system (SysAid/CMMS) and implementation of Facility shared services in area assigned
  • Coordinates department usage of CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) systems
  • Manage outside vendors providing Facility services including card access and training
  • Manages workspace programs
  • Supports all shared services in facilities, with cross training and backfill as needed.
  • Supports process for budgeting in area for department leadership
  • Responsible for assisting with documenting department process, procedures, and standards reporting, using all approved systems, databases and tools.
  • Manages daily coordination with property management for large leased office buildings and associated parking program for such.
  • Manages individual hospitality programs and serves as Facilities department communication ambassador.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • In the absence of, or at the direction of the Manager, Workplace or Manager, Facilities Administration, directly supervises Coordinators and Facilities Specialists (1 – 5)

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Interior Design, Hospitality Services, Customer Service, Construction Management, or comparable discipline
  • Minimum four years of experience in project management, facilities management, interior design, hospitality services, customer service or other related field
  • 2-5 or more years of general office work experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with AutoCad or Revit preferred

Work environment:

  • Primarily normal office conditions in a shared office environment with periodic visits to equipment rooms, construction sites or unfinished office space as needed.
  • May require standing and moving around the entire shift at times.
  • Travel required as the duties of the role are required for all corporate facilities across the various states.
  • Typically, 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required.
