Summary
Spire is seeking a Manager, Identity and Access to oversee and provide guidance to a team of technical staff members. This role will lead and develop a highly skilled, cross functional team to implement and execute solutions for identity and privileged access, as well as account provisioning. The Manager, Identity and Access will focus on continuous improvement, quality, and providing a high level of customer-centric service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight on all identity access and privileged account processes
Oversee diverse pool of technical team members to ensure continuous delivery of work as planned in the Agile Kanban teams
Maintain alignment with overall Product vision and roadmap to ensure capacity to support needs of Spire IT teams
Oversee all user onboarding and offboarding as well as moves within the organization
Close knowledge gaps and build highly skilled resource pools to support core technology solutions by leveraging training and building strategic development plans
Maintain collaborative partnership with leaders, as well as peers, to ensure team performance is maximized, objectives are realized and pending issues are resolved in a timely fashion
Partner effectively with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to isolate any team level performance concerns, create remediation plans, and attend team ceremonies
Set measurable performance objectives annually with a focus on career pathing and opportunities for individuals
Lead by example, provide motivation to team members, and instill accountability
Provide ample support as needed to ensure tools and resources are provided to team to be successful
Essential Characteristics and Competencies
Deep understanding of Agile values and principles and the ability to translate that knowledge to practices
Ability to understand and operate within lean budget guardrails

Solid understanding of software development life cycles
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of large team
Required Education (certifications, licenses)
Bachelor's degree in related field required
SAFe certification(s) a plus
Microsoft certification(s) a plus
CISSP certification preferred
Required knowledge, skill and abilities
Proven experience implementing and or operating Identity access management as well as Privileged access management software tools
5+ years’ experience working on cross-functional, cross-geographical integrated systems and projects
5-8 years of progressive work experience playing an active role in technology delivery and/or business analysis
Minimum 3 years in people leadership position, directly or indirectly
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and other Agile methodologies
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with various cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO) as well as SOX controls
Experience working collaboratively with development and Product Management teams
Extensive knowledge of active directory design, group policy, active directory roles, azure, LDAP, SSO
Experience working with certificates, VPN, MFA, various authentication methods
Experience with identity access and privileged access management tools and process automation
Physical demands, environment and schedule
Hybrid Remote/In Office environment
Work performed primarily during business hours, with off-hours support required at times
Some travel may be required as ITS and teams are disparate across locations
