Summary

Lead the reengineering of the company’s supply management processes, identifying business and logistics areas that could be improved with taking advantage of economies of scale and implementing best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead reengineering of the company’s supply management processes, identifying business and logistics areas to be improved through economies of scale and implementing best practices.
  • Lead impact analysis and measure success of projects with impact, value and efficiency.
  • Gather inputs from employees involved in supply chain and utilize methods such as SAFe Agile, Lean Thinking, Six Sigma, and sales and operating planning to improve and streamline processes. 
  • Lead financial analysis of each opportunity and present business case with supporting ROI and cost to achieve measures.  
  • Leverage Kanban practices to manage work in progress and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve resource allocations through inventory levels and usage, and related procurement processes. 
  • Assist team members with design process to maximize storeroom services productivity and quality through planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. 
  • Requires approx. 30% domestic travel.

Essential Characteristics and Competencies

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • Master’s (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field) and 3 years of experience. 

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • 3 years of experience with process analysis and mapping
  • 3 years of experience with financial analysis
  • 2 years of experience leading project teams
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow)

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Work is normally performed in a shared, open-office environment
  • Requires some work during nonstandard business hours
  • Travel required
