Summary

Spire is seeking a Lead Developer EBS to oversee Spire’s evolution in the Oracle EBS journey.  This role will be primarily responsible for supporting, maintaining, developing and configuring solutions for Oracle EBS.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to triage production issues related to EBS and related integrations and adhere to the Service Level Agreement. 
  • Oversee code review and migration process by other developers. 
  • Partner with Architects to lead technical workshops with PO/PM’s across the App Delivery teams. 
  • Ensure execution of overall ITS solution strategy, standards and practices. 
  • Oversee standards of development.
  • Support integration of E-Business Suite applications with various applications, such as Hyperion, Fusion middleware, CC&B, Maximo, Click and other third-party applications. 
  • Oversee and influence built-in quality, partnering with Quality Assurance, as it pertains to unit/developer testing. 
  • Identify and support performance improvement activities using software tools. 
  • Accountable for development and updating of technical documentation.
  • Fully imbedded in development teams, and participate in all ceremonies and planning, focused on acceptance criteria that is clear, precise and testable. 
  • Accept work into the team backlog and own the commitment related to what has been laid out to be completed each PI. 
  • Contribute to meeting the overall team and PI objectives, also giving feedback when necessary to product owners and/or Scrum masters, including areas of risk and impediments that are encountered.

Essential Characteristics and Competencies

Supervisory Responsibilities

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Engineering or related discipline), or foreign equivalent.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • 7 years of experience with EBS development for Supply Chain and Financial Modules.
  • 5 years of experience playing an active leadership role in technology delivery and business analysis.
  • 5 years of experience supporting EBS, troubleshooting issues, specifically with Approvals Management, workflows, XML Publisher, XML Gateway, EDI Gateway, OAFramework, Forms, and Reports

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Position allows for occasional telecommuting within reasonable commuting distance of reporting office in St. Louis, Missouri
