Spire is seeking an ITS Admin and Assistant Procurement and Inventory Administrator to perform certain procurement activities related to computer, network, audio visual, unified communications and server hardware and software, software maintenance and other miscellaneous items related to Information Technology and provide administrative support to the ITS department and its Managing Directors and Directors. This role will participate in maintaining accurate inventory information for computer hardware and for software licensing in various ITS systems and will also handle certain requests for procurement activity through the ITSM tool. The Administrator will participate in the accurate tracking of ITS assets from the requisition process through asset retirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with requestors, Supply Chain and Spire's third-party Value Added Reseller (VAR) to determine asset specifications, negotiate pricing and obtain formal quotes for purchasing
•    Track inventory of hardware and software, from receipt of assets through retirement and recycling in the asset management system
•    Receive delivered items in the appropriate financial and asset management systems
•    Prepare documentation and correspondence to update Accounting department with purchase and disposal data per the documented process
•    Document processes and procedures related to ITS procurement to benefit the department and the organization
•    Provide consistent updates and critical information on project activities using Spire collaboration and reporting tools
•    Review quarterly work order report for closure of work orders
•    Collaborate with the Procurement and Inventory Administrators to respond to inquiries and issues from Accounting, Finance and Supply Chain
•    Provide assistance to ITS Managing Directors and Directors, as requested. Assist with expense report creation and submission, coordinate travel and meeting arrangements. Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of staff information
•    Coordinate travel, event and meeting arrangements for ITS personnel in all locations
•    Responsible for proper maintenance and security of assigned records and equipment

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent work experience in business disciplines may be accepted
•    High School Diploma
•    Valid Driver’s License

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

•    Requires critical thinking skills, good judgment and organized methods in all facets of assigned duties.  Requires sound judgment and decision-making skills to support the constantly changing computer environment
•    Possess good analytical skills and efficient problem-solving abilities.

Physical demands, environment and schedule

•    Normal 40 Hours work week
•    Office and Service Locations Environment - work is normally performed in a shared office environment
•    Occasional Overtime and Travel may be required as ITS and teams are dispersed geographically across Spire locations
