Spire is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to work in our St. Louis, MO office. This position will be responsible for managing requisition workload, sourcing candidates for various Company positions, and hiring qualified candidates through the full cycle recruiting process.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR Business Partners across Company to understand staffing needs, requirements, team dynamics, and job profiles.  
  • Participate as a member of the talent acquisition team as well as HR programs and projects in support of Company, department, and team objectives. 
  • Manage the full life cycle recruiting process from prospecting to the closing of qualified candidates 
  • Initiate search techniques (Internet, Social Networking, personal networking to identify passive candidates 
  • Participate in outreach and development of diversified recruitment strategies 
  • Manage all candidate activity through an applicant tracking system (ATS) and communicate to managers to report candidate activity and sourcing strategy updates 
  • Support and execute recruiting efforts that impact EEO-1, Affirmative Action plans, Vets-100, and Adverse Impact reporting company-wide 
  • Develop and implement solutions for continuous improvement of established recruiting metrics. 
  • All other duties as assigned

  • High tolerance for workload demands, pressures, and deadlines 
  • Must be flexible and eager to adapt to change 

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another business-related field required 
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting, sourcing, staffing, and managing pipelines for varied level positions  
  • Experience recruiting in both corporate and consulting environments 
  • Internet Certified Recruiter or PHR Certification preferred 

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Must have professional interpersonal communication skills 
  • Must have a strong understanding of OFCCP and Affirmative Action processes 
  • Proficient with MSO Suite and applicant tracking systems preferred 
  • Must have the ability to influence others and gain consensus 

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Work is hybrid: three days in a shared, open-office environment; two days remote 
  • Requires work during nonstandard business hours with occasional travel
