Summary
Spire is seeking a Telematics and Fleet Systems Administrator to work in either the Kansas City, MO, St Louis, MO, or Birmingham, Alabama locations. This position will be responsible for administration of the telematics program and have management oversight for other Fleet Management Information Systems. This position will also ensure management and compliance of all Fleet State and Federal regulations for Spire’s vehicles and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer, manage, and generate reporting in the Global Positioning System (GPS) telematics systems/
- Act as project manager for telematics program, gather and analyze data, problem solve and communicate recommendations.
- Maintain the GPS database to include but not limited to, drivers, vehicles, hierarchies, groups, scheduled reports, authorized users, and site permissions.
- Act as liaison with the telematics provider and other associated contracts.
- Manage telematics inventory levels for all regions.
- Manage the aftercare contract to ensure sustainability of the telematics program that includes troubleshooting of devices, installation of new devices, removal of devices, and monitoring of the database.
- Create and maintain Purchase Orders for payment to vendors.
- Oversee telematics installation and repair teams.
- Maintain and develop new Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) between related databases such as HRIS, CLICK, Driverl, GPSI and others to ensure seamless transmittal of information.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for telematics capabilities and is the primary contact for all related activities for the program throughout all company entities.
- Assist in the oversite of the company Fuel Card Program.
- Supervise analysts and fleet systems personnel and provide subject matter advice and direction on related programs.
- Administer, manage, and generate reporting in Fleet Focus M5 fleet management system.
- Assist in pulling various department reports, as required.
- Moniter telematics systems for anomalies and non-reporting of equipment and schedule for repair.
- Manage the telematics contract for compliance and accurate billing, act as liaison between company and vendor.
- Works with others to ensure compliance of all federal regulations regarding Department of Transportation (DOT) vehicles and equipment, with regards to MCS150, International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), Unified Carrier Registration (UCR), Pipeline and Hazardous Material Permits and International Registration Plan (IRP).
- All other duties, as assigned.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related area of study OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a process management type of role.
- Valid Driver's License, required.
- Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) or Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist (CAFS), preferred.
Required knowledge, skill and abilities
- Five years of relevant experience of increasing responsibility in the automotive industry, six or more years a plus.
- Experience in telematics, Power BI, preferred.
- Experience in leading teams, preferred.
- Experience in vendor management, project management, and contracts.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills, experience in fleet management software.
- General knowledge of a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
Physical demands, environment and schedule
- Work is normally performed in a shared office environment.
- Typically, 8 hours a day, Monday thru Friday. Overtime may be required, to meet tight deadlines.
- Occasional travel, may be required.
